You’re more likely to consume junk food or unhealthy foods if you’re around folks who do so. OR imagine WHAT if everyone around you is committed to leading a healthy lifestyle and being in shape? You’ll be interested in it. You need to monitor your development. If not, how would you know if you were progressing at all? Every month, or after the first six months (review them in June), you might evaluate your goals to assess how far you have gone, what is still left to do, what problems you have encountered, and what you can do better. For instance, anytime I create a goal for myself, I always include how frequently I want to work on the skill that will help me reach that goal. How many days a week do I intend to dedicate to writing a book? And more importantly, if too many days pass without, how am I going to be honest with myself.

Knowing your own strengths and limitations allows you to either work to improve them or give in to them and accept them. YOUR OPTION. Being aware of your strengths helps you remember who you are and what you can contribute. While acknowledging your weaknesses enables you to work on improving them. And the reason this matters to me is that I’ll be able to be whoever I need to be or accomplish whatever I need to to be whoever I need to be if I work on overcoming my defects (my flaw with regard to my aim of being more productive was procrastination). I won’t let it stop me.

Your everyday routine will always be tested by outside factors. You may maintain your routine and build resilience by making plans for the best, worst, and most likely outcomes. You might identify scenarios that can test your self-control by using horizon scanning, such as going on vacation. My phone, social media, and not cleaning my surroundings were some of the things that would cause me to put off. It lead me to not complete my productive aim here from the time I woke up from bed until the conclusion of the workday. I kept my phone far from my bed so that I wouldn’t be tempted to pick it up. I head straight to social media and had an alarm clock by my bed to be less distracted and not procrastinate as much. Moreover, I spent 20 minutes cleaning up after working out because a clean space is more conducive to recovery. Then I prepared a protein shake and have some breakfast.

Force yourself to read more books

Nowadays, reading is a hobby which frequently gets left behind due to the growth of social media, YouTube, and streaming services like Netflix. But reading is vitally essential for discipline and self-improvement. After all, reading a book requires discipline just to sit down and do it. You intentionally invest in a procedure that is mentally stimulating. It starts by taking a book to a quiet area of the house. Reading promotes awareness and compels you to focus on the here and now. To gain from reading, you don’t necessarily need to read books in a particular category.
