1. Chef Vikas Khanna

On November 14, 1971, Vikas Khanna was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He is an Indian restaurateur, chef, author of cookbooks, director, and humanitarian. He served as a judge for the Star Plus television programme MasterChef India. His grandma served as an inspiration for his food. When he started Lawrence Gardens Banquets to host events like weddings, he was just 17 years old. Vikas Khanna received his doctorate from GD Goenka University after completing his undergraduate studies at Manipal Academy of Higher Education. He established his “Junoon” restaurant in New York, and in 2020 he will open Ellora in Dubai. In 2018, Vikas Khanna opened the country’s first culinary museum in Manipal. He debuted as a director with the film The Last Color. Indian food is his cooking style. Honors and Awards. 

2. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor

Every Indian home is familiar with Sanjeev Kapoor, and many 90s children watched his wildly successful cookery programme, Khana Khazana. Everyone watching him prepare meals will want to attempt his simple recipes because of the adoration and joy on his face. Did you know he owns the The Yellow Chilli restaurant group? Sanjeev works for a TV channel named ‘FoodFood’ after which he became the world’s first chef who owns a 24×7 food and lifestyle channel. He also hosted the television show ‘Khana Khazana,’ which was Asia’s longest-running show at the time. He is one of the famous chefs of India from the good old times.

3. Chef Madhur Jaffrey

Chef, actress, author, cuisine and travel writer, and television personality Madhur Jaffrey CBE is an Indian American. On August 13, 1933, she was born in Civil Lines, Delhi, British India. Sanford Allen, a well-known American fiddler, is her spouse; he is also her second husband. When Mrs. Jaffrey first arrived in London in the middle of the 1950s, she studied cuisine at the RADA. South Asian and Indian cuisine are her specialties. More than 15 cookbooks were written by her. She established the reputation of Indian cuisine in Western nations with her first cookbook, “An Invitation to Indian Cooking.” Instantly Indian Cookbook: Contemporary and Traditional Recipes for the Instant Pot is her most recent cookbook to be released.

4. Chef Vineet Bhatia

One of the most prominent Indian-origin chefs, and some would perhaps argue the best, is Chef Vineet Bhatia. He is not only the first Indian chef to obtain the famous Michelin star, but also one of the few. Not only that, but he was the first Indian chef to be awarded two Michelin stars. He owns 11 restaurants, one of which is in London’s upmarket Harrods. Chef Bhatia is renowned for his straightforward cooking instructions for those who are interested in learning how to cook, but his Dal Makhani is what makes people drool.

5. Chef  Shipra Khanna

Indian celebrity chef Shipra Khanna is also a restaurateur, novelist, and television personality. When Chef Khanna triumphed in the second season of the Indian television programme MasterChef, which aired on Star Plus, in 2012, she shot to prominence. When she won MasterChef, she continued to appear on numerous other TV culinary competitions and now has her own TV show as a celebrity chef on Food Food. She founded her first restaurant, H.O.T.- House of Taste, in Ahmedabad in 2013 and The Darzi Bar & Kitchen in Delhi in 2017.

6. Chef Pankaj Sharma

Chef Pankaj Sharma specialises in Ladakhi cuisine, which hasn’t gained the attention it deserves yet. Making a commitment to cuisines that haven’t received much attention is a significant accomplishment in a world that is still fixated on Western trends.

7. Chef Ranveer Brar

Ranveer Brar is a well-known celebrity chef from India who has worked as a judge on Masterchef India, a restaurant, a philanthropist, and one of the country’s most well-known chefs. The local kebab vendors pushed the young Brar to pursue his love of food. In addition to being a chef, Brar writes books and culinary columns. 8. Chef Atul Kochhar

Atul Kochhar, a British chef, restaurant owner, and media figure who was born in India in 1969, was awarded a Michelin star in 2001. In The Oberoi Group hotels in India, he began his career as a chef. One of India’s first two Michelin-starred chefs was Kochhar. He established his own eatery, “Benares,” in 2007, and was awarded a second Michelin star for it. In addition to writing various recipes, such as Curries of the World, Easy Indian, and others, he is a frequent guest on television. The estimated value of Kochhar’s net worth is $4 million. He is one of the famous chefs of India which everyone is following.

9. Chef Anjum Anand

Anand is a Kolkata native. Prior to beginning his culinary career, she was more interested in music than cooking and worked as a drummer in some rock bands. She attended a cooking school in Trivandrum and put in day and night shifts to become one of India’s top 10 chefs. She began working with Taj Group while still a student. Later, Anand left the Taj Group to pursue a professional degree in Bangkok. He then began working at Red, an Indian restaurant where he spent time learning more about Indian cuisine.
