Patriotism Introduction

Popular culture currently seems to be obsessed with patriotic movies and music. However, two of India’s most critical historical anniversaries are January 26th, when the Constitution of India went into effect, and August 15th, when independence from British authority was declared.

In addition to the usual fare of cultural events, speech contests, sports, and other competitive events, television networks often dedicate the entire day to airing films that honor the freedom of a democratic society. The Hindi film industry, sometimes known as Bollywood, is responsible for several enduringly popular and deeply moving patriotic movies.
